On Harvest Eve

As we prepare to harvest the Lord's corn crop I am reminded of something I almost took for granted: Kaison's homecoming!

This is the first time we met! I was happier than he was :)

But what I want to share is that we prayed for months that our paperwork would get processed in time for Kaison to come home and get settled in before we started harvest. For several reasons.

First, we selfishly wanted him home! Second, once harvest starts, we can't leave. Third, it would be August before we could travel. And finally, we selfishly wanted him home!

God is so very good! Not only did we travel in early May, but Kaison is very well settled in!!! Although Mr. Greenthumb was in the process of planting when we traveled, Kolton Tee took over and planted in our absence! So, the crop is thriving and near ready for the month-long harvest AND we are all home!

Our prayer now is that we would steward His crop well!
